Everest Base Camp Trek with a difference
November 2027
Take on one of the world's most iconic trekking challenges while helping others achieve the extraordinary. Next November, the Openwork Foundation will be joining a team hiking to Everest Base Camp as part of a unique expedition alongside a group of visually impaired trekkers.
Peak District Challenge
Saturday 12 September
We’re excited to launch a brand‑new Openwork Foundation challenge. Starting in Edale (just 14 miles from Sheffield), this will be a demanding trek. You’ll take on steep limestone valleys and rolling dales as you hike through the stunning scenery of the Peak District National Park. Sign up for either a half or full marathon distance.
This challenge is ideal for those who are up for something tough and have hiking experience (see the trip notes on the linked page for full information).
If you’re really looking to push yourself, this could be the adventure for you!

Volunteer in Uganda
February 2027
Next February we have opportunities open to travel to Uganda and support charity Fields of Life, working alongside a new school they have constructed for a village community. Get in touch to find out more.
